| In Dean's Words....
I stick to the basics with all my workouts and keep my reps around the 6-8 mark.
I never train to fauilure, I just do enough and no more. I tend to do 1-2
warm up sets and then 3 working sets with the weight increaseing each set. My
workouts are more like a bodybuilder than a strongman but they seems to suit
me, because if i drop the reps any lower I lose 'the pump', which is what I
enjoy!!
My workout schedule is as follows:
Monday (Quads and Hamstrings)
Squats
Hack Squats
Leg Press
Lying Leg Curls
Tuesday (Delts and Triceps)
Seated Barbell Press
Seated Dumbell Press
Smith Machine Press
Cable Laterals
Cable Pushdowns
Wednesday (Chest)
Incline Bench Press
Flat Bench Press
Weighted Dips
Thursday (Back)
Pulldowns
Hammer Rows
Dumbell Rows
Barbell Rows
Deadlifts
Saturday
This is the day when I perform all my event training for strongman.
